When you walk into Rubys you are transported to a time when going to the pictures was an event.

With 2 Gold Class cinemas, Rubys offer’s the latest film releases, with some of the latest 3D technology and Art-House titles that include Independent productions and foreign movies.

At Rubys we offer you a slice of days gone by, a time when the food was good and simple, the drinks strong, and the service impeccable.

We serve espresso coffee, skillfully made, and the finest tasty morsels, not to be underestimated, available through the day and night.

The wine list showcases a selective range of iconic labels and the cocktails are blended with gentle hands, served well into the wee hours. The soundtrack to your Rubys experience, as it should be, has been lovingly selected.

RUBYS OPENING HOURS
Rubys is open everyday except Christmas Day, Doors are open from 30 minutes before the first session until 30 minutes after the start of the final session.

ASSISTIVE LISTENING

Cinema 1 (the larger cinema) is fitted with an assistive listening device, this is suitable for people with hearing aids. Please inquire at Rubys Box Office for the use of our head-set(s).

CINEMA & BAR HIRE

Rubys Cinema & Bar is the perfect venue for your special event. We have two luxury cinemas seating from 12 to 37 people, and an intimate bar area. Our venue is offers deluxe stadium seating, cinema quality sound, large screens and a diverse selection of films. Our fully licensed bar offers a selection of local wines, beers and catering options, along with experienced event staff and a variety of extras to make your event perfect. Host a private movie screening for your friends, staff or clients at Wanaka's finest entertainment venue.
